Great little restaurant. Came to eat with a reservation on Mother's Day. Very prompt service, nice staff. Food was all great from appetizer to main meal to dessert. Great to see a restaurant with a staff that cares.
Thanks, will be back. -

The food was a bit bland or over seasoned and was not as good as I remembered. The best thing was the chicken strips. The other items were so covered in seasoning that it was almost inedible. I would not recommend the place for anything more than the "bar" food stuff like strips and potato type things.
The service was a bit lacking as well. The waitress was nice but not on her game as things took way longer than it should have, such as refills on drinks while waiting for the food. -

I ordered the Cod basket and when I received it. The fish was undercooked and when they brought me a new basket it was cooked properly. But the fish was watery. Not hating on them yet but first time was not a charmer

No restaurant is perfect, but anyone who rates this place less than a 3 is grossly incorrect. I have eaten at Lindy's for years and had anything from burgers to prime rib, and never had a problem. If I could rate it by halves, maybe a 4 1/2 rating, but nothing less. If you have a bad experience here, then you have no taste buds either.
I rate it a five star., -

We have been loyal Lindy's diners for years and have never had a bad meal or experience - until last night. Granted, it was NYE, granted they were super-busy. Our food took over an hour to come out of the kitchen. We were understanding of the holiday and the busy rush. That was not the problem. When our food did come, the lobster and baked potato were undercooked, broccoli was cooked, but was cold, no drawn butter for the lobster, we got no offer of water, wine glasses sat empty during our meal, no dinner rolls (table next to us got baskets-full of them), no offer of dessert. We discussed our experience with the manager/owner, to no avail. She told us she would discuss our concerns with our waitress and the kitchen staff. No offer of any compensation whatsoever. Her response to us was, "This is the first complaint I've had all night. I thought we were doing pretty good." I was really shocked by her no-offer to make things right for loyal customers. Even if we weren't long-time, loyal customers, she should've offered to comp at least part of our bills. She's in the people-pleasing business, and we were not pleased with our food or our dining experience. My two stars are generous only because of our past good experiences & meals.
